These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of hiddenworld.io and any products or services offered by Hidden World ("we," "us," "our"). By accessing this website or purchasing any product, you agree to these Terms.

1. Products and Services

Hidden World offers downloadable digital products including city discovery guides and itineraries ("Digital Products"), and a paid subscription newsletter called the Hidden World Dispatch ("Subscription"). All products are delivered digitally.

2. Purchases

All prices are in US dollars. Payment is processed by Gumroad and Stripe. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. By completing a purchase, you confirm you are authorised to use the payment method provided.

3. Digital Products — Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of our products, all sales are final. However, if you are unsatisfied with a Digital Product for any reason, you may request a refund within 30 days of purchase by contacting us at hello@hiddenworld.io. Refunds are processed at our discretion and credited to your original payment method.

4. Subscription — Hidden World Dispatch

The Hidden World Dispatch is a paid subscription billed monthly at the current advertised rate. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You may cancel at any time by managing your subscription through your account portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial subscription periods.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on hiddenworld.io — including guides, articles, images, and copy — is the original work of Hidden World and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, redistribute, resell, or publish any content without written permission. Digital Products are licensed for personal use only and may not be shared, resold, or distributed.

6. Affiliate Links

Some content on hiddenworld.io and in our emails contains affiliate links. If you purchase through these links, Hidden World may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence our editorial content.

7. Third-Party Websites

Our website and products may contain links to third-party websites including Gumroad, Etsy, Amazon, Viator, and Booking.com. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party site. Visiting linked sites is at your own risk.

8. Prohibited Activities

You may not use hiddenworld.io or any Hidden World product to advertise or sell your own goods or services, or to transfer, resell, or sublicense your access to any product or subscription.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Hidden World's liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of our products is limited to the amount you paid for the product or service giving rise to the claim. For subscription claims, liability is limited to the amounts paid in the six months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our products and website are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any content is complete, accurate, or current.

11. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises between you and Hidden World, we ask that you contact us first at hello@hiddenworld.io to attempt informal resolution. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Montreal, Canada, conducted in English by a single arbitrator under applicable Canadian arbitration rules. These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will notify subscribers by email at hello@hiddenworld.io and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of our website or products after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
